Donation Process
Step 1
Visit www.Blood.co.uk and register
Step 2
Once you have registered you can choose the nearest and blood donation session and select a date and time that is convenient for you to attend.
Step 3
Make sure you eat well and drink plenty of fluid before
Step 4
Make sure you take a selfie while donating or get someone to snap you and share with YBH ;0)
YBH World Sickle Cell Day Blood Donation Event:
Each year YBH will be encouraging people to holds a blood donation event on the 19th of June which is World Sickle Cell Day. The events will take place at a Donor Centre in London. Please take note; this is the only time you will receive a slice of the yummiest of cakes, a mocktail or two and a selection of other treats after donating blood because YBH do things differently AND we are grateful to each and every person that comes along to donate blood so this is just our little way of saying THANK YOU.
No Excuses – For 2018 we will be at the West End Donor Centre which is just a two minute walk from Oxford Circus tube station. Oxford Circus is on the Bakerloo, Central AND Victoria tube lines, so whether you are based in North, South, East or West London the West End Donor centre is easy to get too! And perfect for a bit of shopping afterwards !
The sessions start at 9am until 5pm.
Remember you can donate at least 3 times a year so make a promise to yourself to donate now and for as long as your own health allows you to do so.
